Raven Field Archers - Club Membership

Our membership year runs from 1 Feb to 31 Jan the following year.

Fees:

£15 Adult Probationary Membership

(a further £15 to be paid after 6 weeks following ratification)

(Part year from 1 Aug to 31 Jan: £7.50 + £7.50 after ratification)


£30 New adult members completing a beginners course and adult members renewal. (Part year from 1 Aug to 31 Jan: £15)


£20 Junior members (under 18s). (Part year from 1 Aug to 31 Jan: £10)


£5 Non-shooting members.


To meet insurance compliance, it is a condition of membership that all members must also have valid NFAS membership. 


Please contact the club if you are unsure which level of membership you need.


NFAS Membership fee: £20 annually from 1 April


New or provisional members being signed off by a NFAS coach as full members will need to complete section A and Section B of the downloadable membership form and then send the application to the NFAS Membership Secretary.

ONLY club members should affiliate with NFAS as Raven, otherwise choose Independent.

AGB membership is normally organised and renewed through the club secretary but direct membership is also available online.

Raven Field Archers, “the club,” takes your privacy seriously.  The following policy details how we handle your data.


• What information we collect about you, why and how it is used.


When you join as a member, or register for a beginner’s course, we will collect data such as your name, date of birth, address, telephone number(s) and email address and your NFAS and AGB affiliation number(s).  This is so we can provide you with a club membership card, process or check your membership with our affiliated organisations, ensure you comply with our insurance requirements and issue important notices.  By becoming a member or beginner and giving us this information on the form implies your consent, as without it we cannot process your membership or beginner’s registration.

Additionally, we may wish to take photographs and publish your name on our website, on social media and in club meeting minutes and newsletters when we announce results or other news.  We may also email you with information about our club’s merchandise, member/club updates and events, external archery events and information from your affiliated societies. For these, we need your consent.  You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting the club Secretary.


• How your data is collected, where is it stored and for how long.


Your data may be stored, on file, as a hard copy and on password-protected computer software and cloud storage.  Only relevant committee members have access to your data. Ex-committee members no longer involved with club admin are required to hand back or delete any items of personal data that they possess.


If you become a member, your data will be held for five years from the time you cease to be a member, then your data will be anonymised and archived. Your data will also be retained by the club the three years on completion of a beginner’s course but not registering as a club member.


• Who your data is shared with.


We only share your data with the organisation(s) you have affiliated to, either Archery GB (also incorporating Hampshire Archery Association and Southern Counties Archery Society, the National Field Archery Society, or both. Each society adopts its own strict privacy policy about data held.
